A flavorful mix for tsoureki made without any animal-derived ingredients. It is prepared easily and quickly by simply adding water, yeast, and optionally a small amount of vegetable fat.
It delivers an excellent texture with the characteristic fibrous strands and the traditional aroma of authentic Politiko tsoureki.
Ideal for fasting periods and for consumers who avoid animal products.
Dosage- 1000 gr Mixture
- 400-420 gr Water
- 70 gr Yeast
- 70 gr Margarine

Mix all the ingredients (except the margarine) in an electric mixer or a stand mixer on low speed for 5 minutes with the hook attachment.

Then increase the speed and knead for 15 minutes.

Add the margairne towards the end of the kneading.

Rest the dough until it doubles in volume.

Cut the dough into pieces of the desired size and shape into braids or round buns

Place the brioches in the steamer for about 30 minutes.

Bake at 160°C in a preheated oven for a time corresponding to the size of the product.
