A mixture for fluffy and delicious orange pie that is easily made with oil, water and egg. It contains yoghurt, semolina and pieces of natural orange peel. It can be combined with crust for a more traditional effect. Ideal on its own, as an accompaniment to ice cream or as a base for desserts.
Prescription for use
- 1000 g. PORTOOKALOPITA mix
- 250 g. Water
- 300 g. Sunflower oil
- 300 g. Fresh eggs
Execution instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients together in an electric mixer on low speed with the paddle attachment for 5 minutes.
- Add optionally 300 g. crust sheet grated and lightly toasted.
- Bake at 160-180°C for a time depending on the weight of the product and the type of oven.
Syrup with syrup 28-29°C, 29 g: 1500 g. sugar – 900 g. water – 300 g. glucose.
