Foodstuff proudly presents its new collaboration with the Swiss company Coffola®, bringing to the Greek market an innovative product line that combines premium Swiss chocolate with fine coffee. This is an innovative confectionery raw material that is coming to change the data in the creation of sweets.
Coffola® is a globally innovative product that changes the way we consume coffee. Instead of the traditional cocoa mass used in chocolate making, Coffola® utilizes cocoa butter and specially processed, roasted and very finely ground coffee, creating a premium chocolate with an intense aromatic and flavorful coffee profile. This revolutionary approach is a registered patent, giving Coffola® an absolutely unique character worldwide.
The production process begins with the roasting of selected coffee beans, sourced from farms in Ethiopia and Colombia, with respect for sustainability and origin. The roasting is carried out with precision to bring out the natural aromas without a bitter aftertaste. The beans are then ground extremely finely and mixed with cocoa butter, raw sugar and milk powder, using a meticulous homogenization method that ensures the ideal texture and taste.
The Coffola® mass undergoes a hardening and maturation process lasting at least 5 days, which enhances its flavor complexity. The result is a chocolate that retains all the nutritional benefits of coffee, with a content of up to 210 mg of caffeine per 100g of product, which corresponds to 2.5 cups of coffee!
